I am very excited to announce the addition of our newest staff member, Dave Swanson! Dave joined the Calvary Fellowship staff as our Worship Leader on 3/16. He is a familiar face to many as he led worship periodically for us last summer.

Dave brings not only top-notch musical talent and a passion for worship to the table, he also brings the humble heart of a servant-leader who is wired by God to usher people into the presence of God through song. And yes, he rocks too!

Dave has an album out that you can purchase at iTunes. It isn't exactly what he does on Sunday mornings, but it does showcase his unique talent and his diverse influences. Please introduce yourself to Dave and his wife Liz and welcome them aboard. You can also send an e-mail of encouragement at this address.

Nothing Goes Wasted

This morning at Calvary, we continued in our "Mosaic" series with a message entitled "Nothing Goes Wasted." God uses every single piece of our lives (the good, bad & the ugly) to help create the beautiful mosaic of our lives. Mike Tolerico did a great job of walking us through how God redeems the various pieces of our lives when we place them in His hands.

1 announcement + 1 week = 100 bags of food!

Last Sunday we gave everyone at Calvary Fellowship an empty grocery bag and challenged them to bring it back filled with food to help restock the West Hartford Food Pantry.

People stepped up BIGTIME and today we dropped off 100 bags filled with groceries to help those less fortunate than ourselves. I am so proud of our church!

We kicked off our new series "Mosaic" with a message entitled "Gifted." We have all been gifted by God in many different ways for a unique and irreplaceable part to play in the body of Christ. When we all put our parts into play, the church grows in unity and maturity; creating an attractive and inviting image of Jesus for the world to see.

New Series: Mosaic

 This Sunday we begin  a new series entitled "Mosaic." We have all been uniquely designed by God with different gifts, talents, passions and personalities. In this series we will learn to discover our design and learn how to use it to serve God's purposes in our world.
