If you've heard that any of these books are a waste of time, I'd appreciate a warning. Todd and I will probably read many of these books together.

Yeah, Brian, but the real question is who is reading the books you say are REALLY worth reading after you've read them?

Chip and Dan Heath(Made to Stick) are great authors, their books are written in a "sticky" way which really helps you to remember the concepts. I also recommend their other book titled "Switch". Their website (www.madetostick.com) contains some great free references.
i used to read more, but right now am working through "The Reason for God"- Keller, "Unbroken" - Hillenbrand, and trying to finish "Bonhoffer" - Metaxes. Bonhoffer has been an amazing biography.
Making a list for the year sounds like a good idea.
